The duplex is available January 1, 2019, for any 30 days or longer. A long-term rental is preferred.
I am asking $5,000/month (negotiable) and it is furnished -- unfurnished/partial furnishings is possible.
It is a spacious (1,500 square feet) classic brownstone that has three bedrooms, a den, and 1.5 baths. It is on a beautiful tree-lined block close to many great neighborhood restaurants, cafes and trendy shops on 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue.

First floor: Ground level entry (no stairs) leads to a large, open living area, kitchen and dining area with French doors leading to the backyard garden with barbecue grill. The ground floor has a half-bathroom.

Parlor Floor (second floor) has two large, comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed and air conditioning. The master bedroom has a view of the garden, as well as a 38” flat screen TV. The sunny front bedroom faces the fairly quiet street. There is one full bathroom.

The basement is an additional sleeping area with one queen and one double bed. The washer and dryer are on this level.

There is a child-size bed that can be moved to any room. Please note that the apartment is child-friendly but not child-proof. The house and garden are both non-smoking.

Amenities include:
- Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, tableware
- Digital cable television, plus Netflix, HBO, and Showtime available via Roku
- DVD player
- WiFi
- Barbecue grill
- Washer and dryer

Park Slope is an excellent base for exploring the city, family reunions, weddings, etc. We've hosted many happy and satisfied guests from all over the United States as well as many international guests.

It is an easy walking distance to Prospect Park, the jewel of Brooklyn, where you’ll find summer concerts, boating, horseback riding, and many other activities. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) are also nearby.

It is a five-minute walk to the R train at Union Street subway station or a ten-minute walk to the Q and B trains at 7th Avenue. The ride is about 15 minutes to lower Manhattan. Times Square is about 40 minutes door to door.
