The carport utility room has a full size, high efficiency stacking washer-dryer unit and new water heater. There is a comfortable queen size sleeper sofa as well as a full complement of bed linens, towels, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, flatware, cutlery, cookware, pots, pans, coffee maker, grinder, utensils, and a variety of small appliances. We also provide a new stereo receiver-amplifier, DVD player, high quality speakers and an LED monitor as well as portable computer speakers. A SimpliSafe alarm system was recently installed and tenants may elect to have the home monitored 24/7 for police and emergency services. The house can be furnished for two bedrooms or for one bedroom and office space. Alternative furnishings are available to accommodate young children.
The large yard is fenced and landscaped. The carport has an attractive gate providing covered parking or patio area. The backyard amenities include a large storage shed, a new 8x16 pavilion with double swing, an outdoor table and chair set and a propane grill. A hammock is also provided. The property is located in Austin’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood. The classic Austin neighborhood is walk-able with parks, shopping and other amenities close by. Rent includes basic utilities (gas, water, electricity) and routine landscape maintenance service. The home is “cable ready” and tenants can easily make their own arrangements for internet, tv and phone services of their choice.
No smoking is permitted in the home or on the property, but pets may be considered with an additional security deposit.
The house is available from August, 2020. Earlier start dates can be negotiated. Nine and 12 month lease cycles are available.
