Welcome to our personal home. The building in Stubenrauch Street is a three-sided free standing, neo-baroque, four-story residence with an enclosure, built in 1899-1900 according to the plans of F. and H. Wessel. It is a listed historical building. The house - a one-span building with upper-class 7-room apartments - consists of a front building and an elongated side wing oriented towards the park. Behind the elaborate facade are dining room, living room and kitchen (former salon) with bay window. The staircase is located on the courtyard side in the front house with windows facing the park. The side wing has five axes. The facades of the front house and the side wing are equally opulently decorated.

Our apartment on the third floor was completely renovated in 2010. However, the original flair of the apartment, with its stucco and wooden floors was preserved. In addition, a modern equipment with high speed internet & wifi, security system and modern sanitary facilities.

One accesses the apartment through a spacious hallway. Next to it is a guest toilet.
The eat-in kitchen is professionally equipped (extra-large stove, steamer, Gaggenau extra-wide oven, ECM espresso machine and double-door refrigerator & freezer).

The kitchen, dining room and living room are connected by large French doors.
The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The sandstone tiled bath offers a double sink, walk-in shower and freestanding tub with views of the mature trees in the courtyard or adjacent park. A balcony (north side) belongs to the bathroom.

A second balcony (south side) with a bistro table and seating area is located directly at the spacious living room. There a fireplace provides comfort in winter.

In the rear part of the apartment there is a guest room, a kids room and again a bathroom with bathtub. The rear and quietest room of the apartment is the study with two workplaces (one desk is height adjustable). Next to it is another storage room with washing machine and workbench.

The apartment is equipped with a Sonos music system. The corresponding boxes are located in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. A fourth box is freely portable. In the living room Bose loudspeakers provide a concert experience while listening to music and Dolby surround sound while watching TV.

The apartment has a parking lot in the fenced yard. Small gadgets like a pinball machine and a disco sphere in the guest toilet round off the cat-friendly apartment concept.

Surrounding description

The apartment is located in Friedenau, a quiet, middle-class and green district of Berlin. However, universities, cultural institutions and trendy districts are very easy to reach by car as well as by public transport.

In the immediate vicinity are several kindergartens and three of the most sought-after schools in the area. There are also fitness centers, sports clubs, yoga studios and dance schools within walking distance.

A major shopping street is also located within a few minutes walk. Even closer are grocery shopping facilities (both conventional and organic quality).

In the heart of Friedenau, at the town hall, there is a market three times a week, where farmers from the surrounding area sell their produce. There are also several restaurants and cafes on the Rathausplatz.

A large park with green areas, playgrounds, miniature golf and sports facilities is also nearby.

The surrounding area can be easily explored by bicycle.
