Owl Corner is our family home, so it is well-equipped and very much cared for. We’re seeking a tenant who will enjoy and treat it respectfully as their own home too.

Fully-furnished, including an avid cook’s (me!) kitchen equipment.
Regular biweekly cleaning service included in the rent.
Almost 1600 s.f., plus large garage, as well as plenty of driveway space.
Multiple spaces to work from home, with fast and reliable Wifi, good desk space (one of the desks is an electronic sit-stand desk) and high-quality Herman Miller ergonomic chairs—Aeron and Sayl models. For much of the year, the weather is nice enough that you can sit in the backyard and work on the tables outside too.
Family-friendly house. Some games and toys can be left for you if you’d like, as well as pickleball (there are courts within walking distance) and cornhole sets.
Since this is our own residence, there are many little touches that make life a bit more comfortable, such as heated floors in the main bathroom, a touch faucet in the kitchen (very useful when your hands are dirty while cooking!), several portable air filters, humidifiers, a good entertainment system, and Japanese bidet toilets with heated seats.
Garden with several mature trees that provide great shade and help regulate temperature in the house; the house never gets too hot in summer because of that and because of good insulation.
A few fruit trees that bear fruit. The nectarines from our tree are sooooo sweet. We also have stainless steel trough planters that you are welcome to use and plant in.
But if you’re not interested in gardening, no worries. Our gardener will continue to maintain the garden and yard (gardener also included in the monthly rent!)
Tankless water heater—the water heats up quickly and doesn’t run out. You can run the dishwasher or clothes washer while taking a shower. Good water pressure too.
Central heating and air conditioning with Nest thermostat.
The biggest plus of our place, we think, is the wonderful neighborhood where everyone says hello and you can easily meet people and build a community if you wish. This is a very walkable area, and we are close to several trails. We have a Little Free Library on our front lawn which gets lots of visitors because of all our foot traffic.
Garbage service, as well as cleaning and gardening services as mentioned above, included. Utilities, water, and internet/cable are extra.
Pets considered on case-by-case basis.
Owl Corner is available from June 2022 onward, for at least 6 to 14 months’ lease.
