The house is conveniently located near UNM's main campus, hospital and golf course. It was built in the spirit of traditional pueblo architecture; the patio and garden in the back include native vegetation and fruit trees that provide a beautiful private retreat after a busy day. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and jogging with multiple nearby parks: Del Sol akaTwin Parks, Altura Park, McDuffie Park aka Hidden Park, Bataan Memorial Park, Zia School Park and Alvarado Park). There are multiple grocery store options nearby, including Sprouts (0.5 miles), Smiths (1 mile) and Wholefoods (1.5 miles).

The property has 2 bedrooms (a 3rd will be used for storage), 1 full bathroom, an open living space (living room and dining room), fully-equipped kitchen, separate laundry room (with new LG washer and dryer and an additional standup freezer), and attached garage with Chamberlain MyQ-enabled garage door opener to allow easy access. There is a Roku smart TV available to the tenants. There is also a bonus living space with heated saltillo tile flooring, which is perfect for practicing yoga, meditation, exercise or reading. We recently installed mini splits (AC/Heating) in each room, which is a refreshing perk given Albuquerque’s hot summer months! The house also has a wood burning stove for an additional heat source in the winter.

Please note that our furniture and belongings (kitchenware, paintings) will be in the house and available for your enjoyment, since this is our home. Closets and bathroom cabinets will be cleared for clothes and toiletries.
